WIP

Here I will post all my WIP i'm currently working on

Japanese Embroidery

#1 Bouquet from the Heart of Japan

At the Japanese Embroidery Center, there is a curriculum of 10 phases to progress on Nuido, the art of Japanese embroidery. You can see it like belts in Karate or Judo. Once you complete your phase X, you are able to transmit the art as a teacher, and continue your progress with more advances pieces.

My Phase 1 is Bouqet from the Heart of Japan. In Japan, you receive flowers when you are beginning something ( as opposed of Western culture, you receive flowers for finishing something).

When completed, this piece is absolutely wonderful.

Here is my progress so far (30/03/18)

#2 Colours of Spring

This piece of Japanese embroidery is from Midori Matsushima, a teacher that is not affiliated with the JEC. She sells small design on her website, for beginners with instructions inside. It does not replace the full Phase 1 Class, but if you are not sure to like Japanese Embroidery, it's a good compromise on price since it's a three colors design.

My progress is very little, and the picture is ugly (sorry) (30/03/18)

Since i bought it before having my class, i see how i didn't stitch well a lot of thing. I think i will redo it again someday. It a small and lovely piece, it deserves more love than this.

#1 Villa Mirabilia Mirabilia

This piece is huuuuge. Here is where i am. (30/03/18)
It's the piece i am currently working on most of the time.

#2 Charlotte Mirabilia

My first Mirabilia, she represents something special for me. I fell in love with her 3 simple colours : Pink, Green and Blue.

Only problem : i lost my pattern in my recent moving. It breaks my heart se deeply. I still have unopen boxes in my closet... maybe it's there.

My progress so far (30/03/18)

#3 Jazz Café Anchor Maia

I planned to give this piece to my parents because it would fit well in their living room. 3 years later it's not finished. Oups ^^

Progress so far (30/03/18)

My parents have time to repaint the living room 5 times before i finish this.
